Shivashree has a future free from fear

Shivashree is 2yrs 6 months old and is the only child of Rajesh and Divya. Her father is a fisherman, and her mother is a housewife. She resides in a Tsunami rehabilitation home in Uyyalikuppam.

Shivashree is a nursery student in the Primary School run by HOPE Foundation in Pudupattinam, near Chennai, India. At the time of admission, the school ensured that Shivashree was taken to the government run primary health clinic where all the necessary vaccinations were given to her, and her immunization chart brought up to date. She will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that Shivashree gets all her other vaccinations on time.
