Dharshan is three years old and is the oldest son of Sathish and Suganya. He has one younger brother. His father Sathish is a fisherman from Pudupattinam Fishermen Colony. They live in tsunami rehabilitation house at Pudupattinam.
Dharshan is a kindergarten student in the Primary School run by HOPE Foundation in Pudupattinam near Chennai, India. At the time of admission, the school ensured that Dharshan was taken to the government run primary health clinic where he was given the DPT (Diptheria, Pertussis and Tetanus) shot, and OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine). Dharshan will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that Dharshan gets all his other vaccinations on time.
Your donation will ensure that Dharshan remains protected against seven deadly illnesses all his life.

Yashini is three years old and lives in the tsunami rehabilitation area of Pudupattinam, India with her parents. Yashini’s father is a fisherman to support the family, but cannot afford medical support. Yashini is exposed daily to preventable diseases like malaria and measles.
Hope Foundation provides vaccines for children like Yashini that would not otherwise be protected. Thanks to your donation, Venkat, Hope Foundation provided Yashini with protection from seven different diseases. Yashini can now continue with school and life without the concerns of diseases that thousands around her suffer from.

Manonmani is three years old and attends Hope Foundation’s school in Pudupattinam, India. Manonmani lives with her older sister, father, who is a laborer, and mother, who is a housewife. Sadly, her parents cannot afford to fully support Manonmani and her sister.
Hope Foundation provides medical and educational assistance for children from poor economic backgrounds like Manonmani’s. Too many children in India suffer from preventable diseases like malaria, pneumonia, and measles.
With your support, Shai, Hope Foundation provided seven vaccinations for Manonmani. Now, she will not suffer from diseases that plague the tsunami rehabilitation area she lives in. Manonmani can happily attend school with a bright and healthy future ahead of her.

Dessappan is three years old and lives in a tsunami rehabilitation home. Dessappan lives with his parents in Uyyallikuppam, Thanjavur, India in a fishermen colony. His father, Venkatesh, fishes to support the family.
Due to the family’s trying circumstances, they cannot afford medical assistance without external help. Hope Foundation provides vaccines for children in circumstances like Dessappan’s,who would not receive them otherwise. Hope Foundation was able to provide Dessappan with seven vaccinations thanks to your help, Kristen.
Now, Dessappan and his family can live without worrying about preventable diseases that thousands of children in India die from annually. Thank you, Kristen, for creating a brighter future for a child in need.

Kaviya is a two and a half year old child in pre-kindergarten. She and her parents, Kallan and Vanathi, were forced to relocate to Pudupattinam, India because of the 2004 tsunami that ravaged the country. Kaviya also has one older sister and one younger brother. Her elder sister is studying in a nearby school run by the Hope Foundation, an affiliate of Hope Worldwide.
Before your donation, Karen and Keshav, two children like Kaviya were in danger of contracting one of seven diseases, such as hepatitis, which can all be easily avoided through vaccination. Your support has helped these children avoid a number of afflictions that still plague thousands of people throughout India. Thank you for your kindness!

Lakshitha is four and a half years old and is the eldest daughter or Tamilselan and Bhavani. Her father is a laborer, and her mother is a housewife. She has a younger brother, and the family lives in Periyarnagar Colony. She studies in kindergarten at the school run by Hope Foundation in Pudupattinam.
At the time of admission, the school ensured that Lakshitha was taken to the government run primary health clinic where all the necessary vaccinations were given to her, and her immunization chart brought up to date. She will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that she gets all her other vaccinations on time.
