Nirosha has a healthy future to look forward to

Nirosha is 5 years old and is the youngest child of Nagappan, a coolie, and Manjula. She has an older sister, and she studies in grade 1 at the school run by Hope Foundation in Pudupattinam.

At the time of admission, the school ensured that Nirosha was taken to the government run primary health clinic where all the necessary vaccinations were given to her, and her immunization chart brought up to date. She will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that she gets all her other vaccinations on time.
