Naresh, 5 yrs old, is a fatherless child whose mother, Kala, sells fish in the market to support the family. Naresh is enrolled in the 1st grade in Hope Foundation School. He has one older sister studying in HOPE school. Their father succumbed to blood cancer in 2010. The family lives in Tsunami Rehabilitation Home in Uyyalikuppam.
At the time of admission, the school ensured that Naresh was taken to the government run primary health clinic where all the necessary vaccinations were given to him, and his immunization chart brought up to date. He will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that Naresh gets all his other vaccinations on time.
Your donation will ensure that Naresh has life-long protection from seven deadly illnesses. Thank you for your generosity.
