Kishore, 5 yrs old, the oldest son of Manoharan and Jaya, is enrolled in the 1st grade in Hope Foundation School. He has a younger sister. Manoharan sells fish in the market to support the family, and Jaya is a housewife. The family lives in Tsunami Rehabilitation Home in Uyyalikuppam Fishermen Colony.
At the time of admission, the school ensured that Kishore was taken to the government run primary health clinic where all the necessary vaccinations were given to him, and his immunization chart brought up to date. He will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that Kishore gets all his other vaccinations on time.
Your donation will ensure that Kishore remains protected against seven deadly illnesses all his life. Thank you for your generosity.
