Rishanthini looks to the future with hope

Four year old Rishanthini  is a student of lower kindergarten in the Primary School run by HOPE Foundation in Pudupattinam, near Chennai, India. At the time of admission, the school ensured that Rishanthini  was taken to the government run primary health clinic where all the necessary vaccinations were given to her. She will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that Rishanthini  gets all her other vaccinations on time.
