Malavika will not fall prey to deadly childhood illnesses

Malavika.R PUDU 160 [1600x1200]
Four year old Malavika is a student of lower kindergarten in the Primary School run by HOPE Foundation in Pudupattinam, near Chennai, India. Her father, Ragu, is a fisherman and her mother, Sasikala, sells fish. She has an older brother who is also studying in the same school as her. Malavika’s family, which includes her grandparents live in the fisherman’s colony at Puudupattinam.

At the time of admission, the school ensured that Malavika was taken to the government run primary health clinic where all the necessary vaccinations were given to her. She will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that Malavika gets all her other vaccinations on time.

Your donation, Scott, will ensure that Malavika remains protected against seven deadly illnesses all her life.
