Gokualraj, the older son of a carpenter looks forward to a healthy life

Three year old Gokualraj is a nursery student in the Primary School run by HOPE Foundation in Pudupattinam, near Chennai, India. He is the oldest son of Ramesh and Vasumathi, and they live in Periyar colony, Pudupattinam village. His father is a carpenter, and his younger brother, also studies in the school run by HOPE Foundation.

At the time of admission, the school ensured that Gokualraj’s vaccination sheet was up to date. Now, Gokualraj will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that Gokualraj gets all his other vaccinations on time.
