Gracy is a nursery student in the Primary School run by HOPE Foundation in Pudupattinam, near Chennai, India. At the time of admission, the school ensured that Gracy was taken to the government run primary health clinic where all the necessary vaccinations were given to her, and her immunization chart brought upto daate. She will continue receiving OPV whenever there is a pulse polio drive. A primary health worker will also be visiting the school periodically, to ensure that Gracy gets all her other vaccinations on time.
